A video showing an incident on a Ryanair flight in 2020 has been shared online as the final moments of the Air India plane that crashed in the Indian state of Gujarat on June 12.

An Air India jet from Ahmedabad to London has been cancelled - less than a week after a plane on the same Gatwick-bound route crashed killing at least 270.

Air India on Tuesday cancelled its Ahmedabad-London Gatwick service - AI 159 - citing unavailability of aircraft due to airspace restrictions and additional safety checks. These delays led to a longer-than-usual turnaround of aircraft, the airline statement said. There was no technical snag, Air India stressed.
