The 2024 season was a roller coaster ride for the Cincinnati Bengals. Last year, every game seemed to play out the same way: The offense would score a boatload of points and then everyone would hold on for dear life and hope the defense could hold the lead.

Tanner McKee threw for 252 yards and accounted for three first-half touchdowns, leading the host Philadelphia Eagles to a 34-27 win over the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday evening. McKee got an opportunity for extended playing time with starting quarterback Jalen Hurts held out of the Eagles' first preseason game.
