Canned tuna distributed by Tri-Union Seafoods has been recalled due to a risk of serious, possibly fatal food poisoning.

Tuna sold in 26 states and in Washington, D.C., was recalled over concerns that it may have been contaminated. The stores affected include Trader Joe’s, Genova, Van Camp’s and H-E-B.

Tri-Union Seafoods canned tuna sold at Costco, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and other stores have been recalled for botulism risk. Brands include Genova and H-E-B.
