Wegmans is recalling its brand of medium camembert cheese and products that contain it due to potential listeria contamination, which can lead to serious illness.

Wegmans initiated the recall on Aug. 12, and the affected cheeses include the Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese, the Assorted Cheese Flight, the Grilling Camembert with Tapenade & Roasted Tomatoes and the Caramel Apple Pecan Topped Brie Cheese.

Wegmans Food Markets is recalling some of its cheese products after learning that it could be contaminated with the bacteria listeria monocytogenes. The company is recalling its Wegmans Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese and various other products that contain this ingredient, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced.
