The Chicago Bears were back at Halas Hall for their third practice of training camp on Friday morning. It was the first practice open to fans this summer, and there were still plenty of notable headlines and standouts.

No question, there is a training camp battle between Bradley Bozeman and Zion Johnson for the Chargers’ starting center position, one of the few actual competitions over the first few days.

Rookie running back Kyle Monangai was a standout player for Chicago during Thursday's practice, where he had a long run that included a juke move at the end to pick up some extra yards.

Several players have noticed the attention to detail and intensity from Johnson early on in training camp, including veteran safety Kevin Byard, who's entering his second season with Chicago.
