Criminal Minds remains a strong streaming performer; its full library (the CBS seasons are also on Hulu) ranked ninth among all TV shows in Nielsen’s year-end streaming rankings for 2024 with more than 28 billion minutes (about 473.3 million hours) of viewing time.

Evolution" has been renewed for Season 19 ahead of the Season 18 premiere, Variety has learned. Season 18 of the series will debut on Paramount+ on May 8, with new episodes dropping weekly thereafter.

Criminal Minds: Evolution was renewed on March 5, two months ahead of the Season 18 premiere date. The series was renewed for Season 18 one day before Season 17’s premiere. And the first renewal for Evolution came the day it returned from its midseason break for Season 16.

Criminal Minds: Evolution has been renewed for Season 19 ahead of its return for Season 18. In other good news, we now have a Season 18 premiere date: May 8, with the 10 episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays on Paramount+. (These are the third and fourth seasons on Paramount+, following the original 15-season run on CBS.)
