Federal immigration officials target 'worst of the worst' criminals in Minneapolis as Trump administration ramps up deportation efforts nationwide.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Thursday that agents had arrested 12 people. Of those, six are Mexican nationals, five are from Somalia and one is from El Salvador.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed at least 12 individuals were taken into Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody in Minneapolis since December 1. The list includes five men from Somalia, six from Mexico and one from El Salvador.
