BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Since Indiana earned a 77-76 overtime win at Ohio State on Jan. 17, it’s been a two-week downer. The Hoosiers lost (after leading) at Northwestern on Jan. 22. They also lost (after leading in the final minute) against Maryland Sunday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Welcome to our live blog for Friday's in-state rivalry game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Purdue Boilermakers at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind.

The Hoosiers extended their lead to as many as 7 points in the first half and ultimately carried a 41-37 lead into the break. Indiana outrebounded Purdue 19-12 and shot 55% from the floor. Purdue junior guard Braden Smith led all scorers with 14 points, followed closely by Goode.

The Indiana basketball team was blown out by Iowa on Saturday night. IU dropped to 13-4 and 4-2 in Big Ten play after an 85-60 defeat on the road. Myles Rice led the Hoosiers with 12 points and five assists.
