It was a surprise Sarina Wiegman could barely believe. As the Lionesses celebrated winning back-to-back European Championship titles in front of Buckingham Palace, out came Wiegman’s favourite artist.

Athena was born on January 22 and arrived prematurely, as Princess Beatrice opened up about in an article she wrote for British Vogue. "Nothing quite prepares you for the moment when you realise your baby is going to arrive early," she penned, describing the experience as "humbling."

The Lionesses parade was an occassion to remember for Sarina Wiegman in particular, after she was treated to a surprise performance by her favourite artist Burna Boy.

The princess, her husband Edoardo Mozzi and their children Sienna, Athena and Christopher, were among crowds lining The Mall near Buckingham Palace to celebrate the team winning Euro 2025.

Official Lionesses kits for the 2025 Euros have outsold versions for the previous tournament and the 2023 World Cup, according to Nike. The company, which designs and produces England's kits, says it's seen "particularly strong sales" for children's sizes.
