Storm Eowyn is set to batter the UK on Friday, with wind speeds potentially reaching a staggering 80mph in some areas and up to 60mm of rain expected. The forecaster elaborated: "A band of heavy rain will move northeast across this area later on Thursday night, clearing to the east on Friday morning.", reports Bristol Live.
