With the Lakers trailing 2-1 in their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and facing a (probably insurmountable) 3-1 deficit in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, head coach JJ Redick made a decision: He was either going to sink or swim with the guys who got him to this point.

Redick said postgame he decided to not sub out anyone during halftime, keeping the five-man lineup of LeBron James, Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves, Dorian Finney-Smith and Rui Hachimura on the floor for the entirety of the second half.

The Los Angeles Lakers failed to tie up their series with the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Sunday as the Timberwolves won a 116-113 game. The Lakers will head back to Los Angeles on Wednesday for a 10 p.m. ET Game 5 that could be their last of the season.
