Either the San Antonio Spurs or the Houston Rockets could pretty easily end the Kevin Durant trade sweepstakes with a single phone call. Durant wants to play for them -- perhaps San Antonio slightly more so,

The Rockets overachieved this season, and now they could be in the market for Suns star Kevin Durant this offseason.

However, since Durant doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract, the Suns can trade the 15-time All-Star anywhere. Phoenix nearly traded Durant back to the Golden State Warriors at the February NBA trade deadline before Durant made it known behind the scenes that he didn't want to return to Golden State.
