After adding multiple former NFL assistants and personnel, Belichick has reportedly elected to stay in college football with his pick for linebackers coach. According to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, longtime assistant Bob Diaco is expected to serve in the role.

Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick signed his term sheet to be the next coach at the University of North Carolina. However, according to CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones, he has yet to sign his final contract with the school.

Per CBS Sports: “Sources tell CBS Sports — and UNC confirmed this week — that there is no fully-executed and signed contract between Belichick and UNC. And industry sources say that could lead to a legal gray area about how much, if any, of a buyout there would be if Belichick left for the pros.”
