For the first time since the organization parted ways with him in January of 2024, Pete Carroll made his return to Lumen Field in Seattle Thursday night, this time as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Pete Carroll’s Seattle return ended without a winner when Jalan Gaines blocked Daniel Carlson’s 55-yard field-goal try for Las Vegas as time expired, leaving the Raiders and Seahawks tied at 23 on Thursday night.

Klint Kubiak ran the damn ball to get Seattle out of its brief rut. Jacardia Wright and newly signed Anthony Tyus did the heavy lifting, with Jalen Milroe finally getting a chance to make a couple of nice throws to Marshall Lang and Tyrone Broden along the way. Wright finished off the drive with a 1-yard plunge to extend the lead back up to 23-13.
