Legendary coach Bill Belichick has been in the news plenty over the last several months after ending his one-year sabbatical from football by accepting the head coaching job at the University of North Carolina.

Bill Belichick insisted that Robert Kraft didn't fire him while his girlfriend interjected during his "CBS Sunday Morning" interview.

Belichick was asked if he felt he was treated with dignity and respect when Kraft made the decision to let him go, and Belichick said it was a mutual decision for him to leave. Dokoupil mentioned that Kraft specifically used the word “fired.” “It was a mutual decision," Belichick said.
