Former Temple head football coach Stan Drayton reportedly will replace Ja’Juan Seider as Penn State running backs coach. Pete Thamel of ESPN reported Friday that the 53-year-old Drayton had signed a multi-year deal to join the Nittany Lions staff. Other outlets, though, reported that he will sign a one-year contract.

Penn State’s James Franklin has turned to a longtime coach who has a wealth of experience coaching running backs to oversee the Nittany Lions’ backfield in 2025, per report. Stan Drayton, most recently the former head coach at Temple,
