MANILA: Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-Wong) has affected at least 4,450,846 people, or 1,263,181 families, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported Wednesday (June 12) at noon.
Typhoon Fung-wong made landfall on the main island of Luzon, prompting the evacuation of more than one million people, just days after an earlier storm killed over 200.
