Based on a pilot that ran through August, Microsoft's new system harnesses StopNCII's database to immediately flag intimate images and prevent them being surfaced in Bing results. Microsoft says it has already "taken action" on 268,000 explicit images.

Microsoft has partnered with StopNCII to detect and remove AI-generated deepfake content and intimate images in its Bing search engine. StopNCII is a global platform for adults that works to protect their intimate photos from being shared online without their consent.

Microsoft partners with StopNCII to help people remove explicit images from Bing, whether they're real or AI. It's already taken action on 268,899 such images since a pilot begin earlier this year.
