Deebo Samuel may not be the only San Francisco 49ers receiver on the move this offseason. While Samuel has since been traded to the Washington Commanders, general manager John Lynch acknowledged this week that teams have also called the organization regarding the availability of fellow wideout Brandon Aiyuk.

In April 2023, when John Lynch was asked about rumored trade interest in Brandon Aiyuk, the San Francisco 49ers general manager made it clear he had no plans to deal the wide receiver without saying so explicitly.

The San Francisco 49ers will likely move on from Deebo Samuel this offseason, but they could be looking to move another key receiver as well.

Lynch confirmed that the 49ers “get calls” and emphasized that the team listens to those inquiries but doesn’t always act on them. He reiterated that any trade discussions would have to align with the team’s long-term goals,
