The Colorado men’s basketball team has completed arguably the least challenging portion of its Big 12 Conference schedule.

The early conference misery continued for the Buffs in Stillwater on Saturday, as CU couldn’t defend without fouling and was crushed on the boards as the Cowboys handed the Buffs an 83-73 defeat at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Still, the Buffs once again were plagued by turnovers, finishing with 15. Colorado began the week ranked second in the Big 12 in free throw percentage with Cincinnati ranked last. Yet it was the Bearcats who outscored the Buffs at the line, going 16-for-21 while CU finished 13-for-21.

With 12 minutes to play on Saturday afternoon, the Colorado women’s basketball team was poised to pick up its first road win in Big 12 Conference play. Very little went right in those
