Californians can now securely add their digital driver's license or state ID to the Apple Wallet app on their iPhone and Apple Watch, the company announced Thursday.

Californians with iPhones and Apple Watches will now be able to store digital versions of their driver's licenses and identification cards on their devices, state officials announced.

If you need to show proof of your age or identity, you can use your driver's license or state ID in Apple Wallet, but the feature is limited for now.
