To date, she has braided almost 100 kids' hair for free. She's had parents from across the state — and even across the country — asking if she will travel to braid kids' hair.

A single mother of two donated her time to braid kids' hair for free at the start of the school year, a labor of love that takes four to six hours a child and would cost $200-$300.

Committed to helping families Starks has always enjoyed styling hair for children and adults. From faux locs and knotless braids to box braids and beaded cornrows, there’s not much she can’t do.
