Meta has launched Instagram Teen Accounts in India. This new service of Instagram comes with built-in safety features, which will provide better safety and privacy to children under 16 years of age on the photo and video-sharing platform.

By default, Teen Accounts are set to private, requiring teens to manually approve follower requests—a rule that also extends to users under 18.

Instagram has introduced Teen Accounts in India, focusing on safety and parental control. This initiative aims to protect young users from harmful content and cyberbullying.

The new Instagram feature allows parents to see and control what their children do as well as set daily limits and reminders to stop using the app.
