FOUR people have been killed after an Iranian military helicopter crashed into a fruit market.

At least four people were killed when an Iranian military helicopter crashed into a crowded fruit and vegetable market in Dorcheh, in Isfahan Province, south of Tehran.

The aircraft was on a training flight when it came down amid smoke and debris, triggering a fire that emergency crews extinguished.
