Jordan’s King Abdullah II said he would take in 2,000 Palestinian children from Gaza who are very sick or suffering from cancer, signaling new openness to a plan by President Donald Trump to drive a deal that would resettle the residents of the war-torn strip.

Jordan's King Abdullah II has once again rejected any mass displacement of Palestinians after meeting with President Donald Trump, who has called for the Gaza Strip's roughly 2 million residents to be removed from the war-ravaged territory.

Trump will hold meetings and a cordial lunch for Abdullah as he tries to get his support for the glitzy redevelopment plan and perhaps even accept some of the Palestinians who would be displaced.
