August has been a better month for the Braves, especially for a few individuals, but it has not been so kind to Spencer Strider. Strider entered Monday night with a 15.43 ERA in the month over three starts, bloating his season ERA to north of 5.00.
Strider (3-0) picked up the win Tuesday against the Red Sox, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks with five strikeouts across five-plus innings. Strider gave up back-to-back homers to Jarren Duran and Ceddanne Rafaela on five pitches to lead off the bottom of the first inning,
