The deadly Palisades Fire in Los Angeles County started after a fire that began days earlier was re-ignited by a Santa Ana windstorm.

BREMEN, Ind. (WNDU) - Two people are recovering from their injuries after a house fire on Monday afternoon just north of Bremen. It happened around noon on Tyler Road near State Road 331. Several departments were called to the scene to put out the flames. Officials say a resident and a firefighter were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

According to regional councilor Massimo Sertori, the 21 nuns residing at the monastery were evacuated safely. Nineteen of the nuns were relocated to the Little Apostles in Ponte Lambro, while two were in a shelter near Erba, Sertori said.
