Ryan Gusto will start in Lance McCullers Jr.'s place Monday against the A's, with Jason Alexander called up from Triple-A to fill out the roster.

The Astros are down yet another starting pitcher, with Lance McCullers the latest to land on the Injured List.

Starting pitcher Lance McCullers, who was scheduled to be on the mound on the road against the A’s, was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right foot sprain. Starter Ryan Gusto will take the hill instead and the team called up starting pitcher Jason Alexander from Triple-A Sugar Land.
