Former congressman Beto O'Rourke defended his group's funding of Texas Democrats who fled the state to block redistricting, telling CNN the strategy was worth the cost.

The attorney general is also looking into the George Soros-backed Texas Majority PAC, which is playing a coordinating role to solicit donations from Democratic donors.
