CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns special teams unit didn’t make things any better in 2024. The Cleveland Browns aren't treating rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders much differently from your typical fifth-round draft pick, according to The Athletic's Zac Jackson.

According to Pro Football Focus, which does “watch the film” (even if imperfect like all evaluations), gave Thornhill his second lowest season grade of his career last year (65.5) including a paltry 45.0 grade in tackling. Overall, PFF had Thornhill graded as the 72nd safety in the NFL in 2024.

Taua, 25, spent the past two seasons with the Michigan Panthers and led the UFL with six rushing touchdowns in 2025. He rushed 81 times for 356 yards and added 76 receiving yards in seven games (four starts) with the Panthers this past season.
