The Dallas Wings have traded guard DiJonai Carrington to the Minnesota Lynx for forward Diamond Miller, guard Karlie Samuelson and Minnesota’s 2027 second-round draft pick, the teams announced Sunday morning.

Minnesota selected Diamond Miller with the No. 2 pick out of Maryland in 2023, but the wing never quite hit her stride with the Lynx.

The WNBA-leading Lynx have acquired DiJonai Carrington in a trade from Dallas. The Lynx sent Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and a second-round pick in 2027 to the Wings. WCCO’s Henry Lake says the move solidifies the Lynx as championship favorites.
