MS NOW host Rachel Maddow has questioned Donald Trump’s changing pace and reliance on “violence porn” during his marathon State of the Union speech. Trump, 79, spoke for 108 minutes on Tuesday evening, easily smashing the record set by former President Bill Clinton’s 88-minute State of the Union speech in 2000.
The president's address drew favorable reviews from nearly two-thirds of viewers, though approval fell short of his first-term speeches when at least 70% responded positively.

On inflation, immigration, tariffs and war, he presented a frequently distorted account as he claimed a “turnaround for the ages” and myriad achievements that don’t pass scrutiny.
“You’ve seen nothing yet,” Trump said to open his remarks, which ended up breaking the record as the longest State of the Union address in modern-era history. “We’re going to do better and better and better. This is the golden age of America.”
Reps. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashia Tlaib of Michigan "look like they should be institutionalized," Trump said.
