An arrest has been made in the deadly shooting of a Fort Pierce woman outside a Fort Lauderdale Airbnb last May. Fort Lauderdale police said Larry Smith, 19, was taken into custody on Sunday during a traffic stop after officers learned he had an active warrant for second-degree murder in the May 19 death of Myrah Zeigler.

The Fort Lauderdale police officer who pulled him over noticed Smith had a warrant out for his arrest for the murder of Myrah Zeigler, a 19-year-old from Fort Pierce who was shot to death on May 19 near the 900 block of Southwest 16th Street.
