The Mariano's in Western Springs has reopened amid a police investigation that drew a large officer response earlier Wednesday afternoon.

On social media, just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Western Springs police said its officers are assisting the La Grange Police Department with an investigation stemming from an earlier incident.

WESTERN SPRINGS - Police swarmed the scene of a Mariano's grocery store in Western Springs on Wednesday afternoon. Western Springs police posted about the incident on Facebook around 1:30 p.m., urging the public to stay away from the scene. The store is located at 4700 Gilbert Avenue.
