Police say a shooting during a party in a warehouse district of downtown Los Angeles has left two people dead and six others wounded.

A Hard Summer afterparty ended in tragedy when gunfire tore through a downtown L.A. warehouse early Monday morning. Just after 1 a.m., shots rang out at the event, where a large crowd had gathered following a weekend packed with DJ sets and festival energy.

Two people were killed and six others were injured in a mass shooting at an after-party in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
