The man suspected of killing a Minnesota lawmaker and wounding another is now charged with murder after police arrested him Sunday near his home following a nearly two-day search.

SUSPECT CAPTURED: Vance Boelter, the suspect in the fatal shootings of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband, as well as the woundings of another lawmaker and his wife, has been captured.

Boelter was arrested in a field located in a rural part of Sibley County, in southwest Minneapolis, and he was being interviewed at a law enforcement facility, Drew Evans, the superintendent of the state’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, said.
