Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe on Thursday declared a State of Emergency and activated the Missouri National Guard in anticipation of protests across the state.

Mike Kehoe’s order triggers a state of emergency due to civil unrest, even as no evidence existed of riots or other widespread violence in Missouri.

Missouri has joined Texas in preemptively activating the state's National Guard ahead of the "No Kings" protests planned at about 2,000 sites across the nation on June 14 against President Donald Trump.
