Things went according to plan Wednesday night in the Padres’ 5-1 victory over the Angels. Things were at least back to normal with the bullpen. And the Padres got what might be the new normal from Randy Vásquez.

The Angels manage only four hits, including Taylor Ward’s 10th homer of the season, on their way to a 5-1 loss. They don’t get a runner into scoring position after the third inning.

Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a two-run 430-foot walk-off homer to centerfield to give the San Diego Padres a comeback 6-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night.
