Deputies say that the two claimed to be members of the "Roaring River Fire Department" in Oregon and that the firetruck they were driving was purchased through an auction.

A man and a woman from Oregon were arrested for reportedly impersonating firefighters and using an illegitimate fire truck in the Palisades Fire area, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department announced Sunday.

Two suspects from Oregon are under arrest on suspicion of impersonating firefighters at the Palisades Fire. On Saturday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau investigators got a call about two suspects possibly impersonating firefighters.
