Android is getting two new AI-powered scam detection features, which will help your phone detect scam calls and messages.

Google started beta testing a that can sense signs of a fraud in voice calls using AI analysis. Today, Google has officially launched the Scam Detection feature for calls, alongside a similar con-screening system for messages.

Google has just announced the four latest features of its Android 15 operating system. First up, Google Messages now uses AI to detect scam messages in real time. Scam Detection will notify you if it detects suspicious writing patterns from the messages you're receiving and will give you the option to report and/or block the conversation.

There are new features for Android and Pixel phones, including live location sharing in the Find My app.
