Netflix has released the trailer for the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things.” Created by the Duffer Brothers, “ Stranger Things 5 ” picks up in the aftermath of Vecna leaving Max in a coma and spreading the Upside Down into Hawkins. At the end of the explosive trailer, Vecna arrives to go to war against the gang.

Unable to escape her past relationship, she takes a job in London and swears off love — that is, until she meets Felix (Will Sharpe), who is a series of red flags, but their connection is impossible to ignore.

When season 4 of Stranger Things came to a close, Max was left in critical condition. Her body was broken, her vision gone, and her heart stopped until Eleven intervened.

The final season will be released in chunks over the winter.
