Team USA won the women’s hockey gold medal in an absolute thriller today in Milan, beating the Canadian club 2-1 in overtime after rallying to tie the game with about two minutes left.

The United States has defeated Canada 2-1 in overtime to capture Olympic gold in women’s hockey.

The deciding goal came about four minutes into overtime after American forward Megan Keller scored a shot past Canadian goalie Ann-Renée Desbiens.
