The video service has gone dark in the U.S. on Tuesday night.

The V&A museum has reconstructed an early YouTube watch page, showing the 19-second clip “Me at the zoo” from 2005.

Feb 17 (Reuters) - YouTube said on Tuesday it has resolved an issue that briefly affected access to the video-sharing platform, after outage-tracking website Downdetector reported widespread global disruptions.

For an hour, users were met with the message, "Something went wrong. Try again."

YouTube was not fully back online until after 10 p.m. Here's what YouTube said about the problems. "Aaaand we're back!! This issue has been fixed across YouTube. Thanks for all the reports and for bearing with us while we sorted it out,

YouTube, too, acknowledged the same and issued a statement, “We’re aware some of you are having issues accessing YouTube right now. Our teams are aware, and we’ll provide updates as soon as we have them.
