Tournament less than a week away, Nashville is on Big Blue Nation’s minds. Soon, BBN will take over Broadway and Bridgestone Arena to support Mark Pope’s Wildcats in the first conference tournament of the Pope era.

Three volleyball teams from the SEC, including Tennessee and Vanderbilt, will play against the Big Ten in a tripleheader at Bridgestone Arena.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs and Kentucky Wildcats will square off for the fourth year in a row on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN as part of a six-year series agreed to by these two programs three years ago.

Gonzaga last played in Nashville against Tennessee on Dec. 18, 2016, beating the Vols 86-76. Kentucky routinely plays in Nashville each season, either against Vanderbilt at Memorial Gym or in the SEC Tournament, which will be held at Bridgestone Arena for the next decade.

Kentucky’s men’s basketball team will play a regular-season game at Bridgestone Arena for the first time later this year. The Wildcats will face Gonzaga on Dec. 5 in a battle of marquee programs.

The fourth installment of the Gonzaga-Kentucky nonconference series officially has a date and location. The Zags and Wildcats will meet again on Dec. 5 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the home venue of the NHL’s Nashville Predators.

The inaugural Broadway Block Party women’s college volleyball tournament will take place Aug. 31 at Bridgestone Arena. The event will feature six teams, including Tennessee and Vanderbilt, the latter of which will be competing in the sport this year for the first time since 1980.
