More than three years before Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost won an illegal voting indictment of a 62-year-old woman, lawfully present in the U.S. for three decades, local prosecutors and investigators in Yost’s office closed the case on Maria Dearaujo.
That order came after several lawsuits were filed by people who were denied benefits when DeWine had ended Ohio's participation in the program prematurely in June of 2021.
Ramaswamy has quickly become the Republican frontrunner, thanks in part to President Donald Trump's endorsement.
