A schoolboy who died after he was found seriously injured on a Glasgow street has been named locally as Amen Teklay. Emergency services raced to Clarendon Street in the city's west end after receiving reports of a person being found injured at 10.30pm on Wednesday. Crews attended but sadly, the 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is now being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. Formal identification is yet to take place however, the boy's family are receiving specialist support.

Politicians speak out after teen dies on Glasgow's Clarendon StreetRepresentatives from across North Glasgow have spoken out after hearing the news that a 15-year-old boy died after being found seriously injured in Clarendon Street.
