Former Kansas City Chiefs center Mitch Morse has announced his retirement after 10 seasons in the NFL, all of which were in the AFC.

A former member of the Kansas City Chiefs is hanging up his cleats after an improbable decade-long NFL career. At 32 years old after 10 seasons across three different teams, former Chiefs center Mitch Morse has called it a career.

During his five-year run with the Buffalo Bills from 2019-2023, starting center Mitch Morse not only reached his first Pro Bowl with the organization but showed a kind of consistency the team failed to have along the offensive line for decades.

On Thursday, center Mitch Morse announced his retirement from the game of football. Morse spent 10 seasons in the NFL, playing his first four with the Chiefs, followed by five with the Bills, and his final season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Following his announcement, the Bills shared a message for him on social media.

The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to trade All-Pro guard Joe Thuney to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, a source familiar with the transaction told UPI on Wednesday.
