Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford is joining 21 other state attorneys general in suing to block an executive order from President Donald Trump that would end birthright citizenship in the United States

Donald Trump was sworn into office as the 47th president, saying he would sign more than 100 executive orders to “begin the complete restoration of America and the revolution of common sense.”

Assemblyman Gregory Hafen called it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and he expects Gov. Lombardo and Lt. Gov. Anthony to go, too.

Nevada’s Republican governor extended a hand Wednesday to the Democratic-controlled state Legislature , saying they need to come together to find solutions for urgent issues like affordable housing and access to adequate health care.
