The New York City medical examiner's office said Thursday the cause of death is undetermined for actress Michelle Trachtenberg because of limited information after her family objected to an autopsy, which is allowed by law.

Michelle Trachtenberg was excluded from the 2025 Oscars In Memoriam segment. The actress, who was found dead at her ritzy Manhattan apartment Wednesday morning at age 39, did not appear in the montage that honored the stars in film who died over the last year.
