The Seattle Mariners have signed veteran reliever Trevor Gott to a minor league contract with an invitation to big league camp in spring training.
The Mets acquired Gott from the Mariners in July 2023 and in 34 appearances for New York, he posted a 4.34 ERA in 29 innings. The Mets could have kept Gott after 2023 through arbitration, but they instead elected to non-tender him ans he later signed with Oakland.
